Rose D. Petrarca, 94, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Kent Hospital, Warwick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Petrarca. Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late Archille and Elisa (Petrarca) DiFiore.
Rose was a foot press operator at Briers Manufacturing Co. for twenty-five years and also at Bradford Soap Works, Inc. for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the casinos.
She leaves behind a son, Anthony J. Petrarca, III, of Warwick and two daughters, Louise M. Rossi of Coventry and Elisa R. Maciel and her husband Arthur of Coventry, a sister, Enrichetta DiSano of Coventry, four grandchildren, Sheri Rossi, Dennis Rossi, Thomas Maciel and Lionel Maciel and his wife Kristy and six great grandchildren, Thomas Maciel, Austin Maciel, Dylan Maciel, Jaiden Ramirez-Donovan, Marlee Storrar and Taylor Storrar. Rose was the sister of the late Mary DiMauro, Clothilda Grassia, Clara Petrarca and Archille DiFiore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 22, 2021, at 10:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry (All State COVID-19 regulations will be observed). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s’ Association, P.O.
