HOOD, Richard L. “Ricky”, 59, of West Warwick, lost his sudden battle with cancer Friday morning, November 5, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

Born in Cranston, a son of Irene M. (Picard) Hood of Coventry and the late Louis J. “Rick” Hood, Jr. He resided in the Pawtuxet Valley area for most of his life.

Ricky was employed at General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division earlier in life and later moved onto construction. His enjoyments included, love for fishing, cooking, campfires, music and friendships.

Besides his mother he leaves a daughter, Heather L. Hood of Johnston; three siblings, Deborah “Renee” Hood, Robert Hood and Randall Hood and a grandson, Evan L. Ward.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. You were loved and will be missed by many. May you rest in peace. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A special thank you to all the staff at HopeHealth Hospice Center for your dedication and kindness.
