FISCHER, Monnia L. (Henkins), 84, of West Warwick Manor, 62 Roberts Street, West Warwick, passed away, Monday morning, March 23, 2020 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard L. Fischer, who passed away in August of 2011. Born in Waynesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Myrtle I. (Burge) Henkins. She resided in Harmony, PA before moving to West Warwick in 2003.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianna M. Grenon and her husband Dennis of Coventry and Donna L. Byers and her husband Bert of Southport, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cheryl Gobin, April Guenet, Matthew Dillon, Aaron Dillon and Justin Byers; two great grandchildren, Scott Gobin, Jr. and Parker Dillon and two siblings, Calvin Henkins and Frances Thornton.

Her funeral services will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society, RI Chapter, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 in her memory would be appreciated.
