Madeline L. (Ferreira) Caya, 74, formerly of West Warwick passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 5, 2020 at Anchor Bay at Greenwich in East Greenwich.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert N. Caya, upon his passing, they had been married for forty eight years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Armand and Mary (Mello) Ferreira. She was a resident of West Warwick for most of her life.

Madeline was the loving mother of Robert N. Caya, Jr. of East Greenwich and Marie A. Caya-Gilberti of Coventry. Cherished grandmother of Jason M. Caya and great grandmother of Tia and Greyson Caya. Dear sister of Marie Rossi of Coventry and Patricia Ferreira of Warwick. She was the mother-in-law of the late Edward L. Gilberti.

Her funeral services with interment in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
