Mabel J. (Costa) Duarte

DUARTE, Mabel J. (Costa), 97, of West Warwick, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 24, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Duarte and the late Joseph V. Polselli.  A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Amaral) Costa.

Mrs. Duarte was a lace puller with H & H Processing Company for over thirty five years before retiring in 1985.  She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony Church, a member of the West Warwick Lodge of Elks #1697 Emblem Club, a member of the Holy Ghost Society Club and enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by a son, Richard L. Polselli and his wife Deborah Lawrence of Coventry; a daughter, Jo-Ann Polselli of West Warwick; a granddaughter, Shannon Matrullo of Warwick and a great-granddaughter, Genna Matrullo of Warwick.  She was predeceased by a son, Joseph V. Polselli. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be private due to the pandemic.  Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick (all COVID-19 guidelines will be observed).  In lieu of flowers contributions to Beacon Hospice Care, 1130 Ten Rod Road, Suite C104, North Kingstown, RI 02852 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
