Luigi Fresolone

FRESOLONE, Luigi, 88, of Coventry, passed away, peacefully Monday, July 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary D. (Fabbri) Fresolone.  Born in Eboli, Italy, a son of the late Luigi and Teresa (DiNapoli) Fresolone.  He was a resident of Coventry since 1963.

Luigi was a foreman with O. Ahlborg Construction Co. for forty-eight years before retiring in 1996.  He loved spending time with family, friends and socializing.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, quahogging and winemaking.  He loved to watch horse racing and attended many races at Saratoga.

He is survived by his five children, Louis Fresolone and his wife Lisa, Lillian Rogers and her husband Paul, Elizabeth Fresolone, Rosemary Bartley and her husband Keith and Arnold Fresolone and his wife Lisa; two sisters, Elvira Manna and Anna Shellenberger; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Krystal, Josh, Makayla, Andrea, Heather, Corey and Ashley and three great granddaughters, Avery, Lilly and Nora.  He was the brother of the late Gaetano “Tony” Fresolone and Vitina Pernardo.

His funeral will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in SS.
