Joseph "Bob" R. Lacroix

LACROIX, Joseph R. “Bob”, 85, a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 30, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce M. (Rush) Lacroix, they had been married for 56 years upon her passing.  Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Roy) Lacroix.

Bob was the proprietor of Bob’s Auto Body in West Warwick for over fifty years before retiring in 2013.  He served four years with the U.S. Air Force and was an avid golfer.

He leaves a daughter, Celinda M. "Cindy" Joaquin and her husband Michael of West Warwick; three siblings, Cecile Desmarais, Pauline Langlais and Roy Lacroix; two grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Degraide and his wife Jennifer and Kayleigh L. Cousineau and her husband David and four great grandchildren, Lydia, Ryan, David and Riley.  He was the father of the late Joseph R. "Rob" LaCroix and pre-deceased by six siblings.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 9:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS.
