Eilene R. (Therrien) Ball

Eilene R. (Therrien) Ball, 93, of Coventry, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry.

She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert I. Ball, Jr.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Hector and Marie (Martin) Therrien.

Eilene was an inspector at Stanley Bostitch in East Greenwich for many years until retiring.  She loved all her grandchildren very much and was a good person and will be greatly missed.  She loved to cook and bake and enjoyed to do canning.  She was a member of the D of I in West Warwick and was especially fond of camping with the Good Sam’s Cub with her husband, Herb.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley M. Levesque and her husband Denis of Coventry; five grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and her sister, Shirley.  She was the mother of the late Patricia Ball and Patricia S. Labrie and pre-deceased by nine siblings.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a funeral home service at 10:30 am.  Interment will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in her memory would be appreciated.
