Barbara J. (Phillips) Martineau

Barbara J. (Phillips) Martineau, 80, of West Warwick, passed away Wednesday morning, September 13, 2023 at Lakeside Skilled Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, North Kingstown.

She was the wife of the late Leo H. Martineau.  Born in Coventry, a daughter of the late Lloyd A. and Esther (Parente) Phillips.  She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Martineau was an assembler with Bradford Soap for twenty years before retiring.  She loved spending time with family, playing Bingo, doing puzzles, and traveling.

She is survived by two sons, Richard D. White and Steven E. White; three siblings, Lloyd A. Phillips, Jr. Kenneth Phillips and Cathy LaFramboise and six grandchildren.  She was the beloved mother of the late Deborah White-Brown and sister of the late George Phillips.
