Walter J. Bolcon

BOLCON, Walter J., 77, of Acres of Pine Road, Coventry, passed away peacefully  at home on Saturday, December 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen M. “Kathy” (Prayzner) Bolcon, they had been married for fifty-four years.  Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Walter and Stella (Glewski) Bolcon.  He resided on Johnson’s Pond for over forty years.

Walter was a self-employed sales representative in the marine industry for over forty years with his most recent passion in yacht sales.  He enjoyed water activities including boating on Johnson's Pond while entertaining on "Mojito Sunday's".  He had a love of all animals especially all his girls, an avid Patriot's fan, he loved watching the games on Sunday's.

Besides his wife he leaves two children, Walter C. Bolcon and his wife Stephanie of Coventry and Dawn C. Degnan and her husband John of Coventry; two grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Bolcon and a brother, Paul Bolcon and his wife Annette of Taunton, MA. 

His funeral will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Friday 4:00-7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside.
