Norma (Gallucci) Messier

MESSIER, Norma (Gallucci), 88, of Revere Avenue, West Warwick, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late J. Donald Messier.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Perretta) Gallucci.  She resided in West Warwick for most of her life.

Mrs. Messier was a payment processing manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years until retirement.  She was a selfless person who cared about everyone.

She is survived by a son, Steven J. Messier; a daughter, Nancy A. Rehder; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Derek, Victoria, Dennis and Katie Messier and Thomas Rehder; a great granddaughter, Aliyah Messier and three brothers, Alfred Gallucci of Delray Beach, FL, Albert Gallucci of West Palm Beach, FL and William Gallucci, Chief, West Warwick Police Dept. (Ret.) of West Warwick.  She was the mother of the late Dennis D. and Brian J. Messier, grandmother of the late Brian S. Messier and sister of the late Frank, John and Lindy Gallucci.

Her funeral services will be private.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to VNA Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 in her memory would be appreciated.
