DiCARLO, Joseph J., Jr., 73, of Warwick, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph J. DiCarlo, Sr. and Sophia (Ingham) DiCarlo. He was a resident of Warwick for most of his life.
Joe was the former owner of DiCarlo Brothers Café and was a groundskeeper at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston for many years before retiring. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran and a lifelong New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph J. DiCarlo, III of Cranston and Jason A. DiCarlo of Westerly; two sisters, Anne E. DiChristofaro and Linda Garofalo both of Warwick and two grandsons, Jackson and Logan DiCarlo.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 9:00-10:30 am followed by a funeral home service at 10:30 am. Interment with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
