TEDESCHI, Joseph D., 85, of Country Lane, Hope, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Audrey A. (Peltier) Tedeschi, they had been married for 55 years. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gerretta (Maglioli) Tedeschi. He was a resident of Hope since 1967.
Mr. Tedeschi was the proprietor of Kent Foundations for many years before retiring. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and one of the founders of the East Natick Veterans Association.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Joseph A. Tedeschi and his wife Carla of Manhattan Beach, CA and Peter V. Tedeschi of Deerfield Beach, FL; two daughters, Sandra Lambert and her husband Randy of Coventry and Susan Penney and her husband Randy of Cumberland; three sisters, Celia Richtarik, Jessie Tedeschi and Dolores Tedeschi all of West Warwick and five grandchildren, Gabriella, Emma and Audrey Rose Tedeschi and Giana and Scott Penney.
His funeral will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:45 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Interment with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday 3:00-6:00 pm.
