ANDERSON, Dorothy E. (Carr), 93, formerly of Jodoin Street, West Warwick, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at West View Nursing Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond V. Anderson. Born in Coventry, a daughter of the late Albert P. and Florence (Sherman) Carr. She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.
Mrs. Anderson was a bookkeeper and sales clerk for W.T. Grant and JJ Newberry for several years. She was also a nanny and housekeeper for twenty five years.
She is survived by four daughters, Cheryl Goodwin and her husband Bruce of Eliot, Maine, Nadine Tyler and her husband David of West Warwick with whom she lived, Nancy Lusignan and her late husband John, Jr. of Dixmont, Maine and Sandra Sauvageau of Reno, Nevada; three grandchildren, Laurie Malm, Jason Lusignan and Holly Rae Cough and two great grandchildren, Zachary and Ryan Malm. She was the sister of the late Albert P. Carr, Jr. and Howard S. Carr.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00-6:00 p.m. Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
