Carmine Gentile Obituary
GENTILE, Carmine A., 93, of Levesque Street, Warwick, passed away Easter evening, April 1, 2018 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.
He was the beloved husband of Carmela (Ferretti) Gentile, they had been married for 70 years. Born in Montaquila, Italy, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Rose (Bucci) Gentile.
Mr. Gentile was employed in the maintenance department of the Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston for twenty years before retiring in 1990. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and loved gardening.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Giuseppe M. Gentile and his wife Silvana of Warwick and Carlo Gentile and his wife Naomi of Cranston; a brother, Michele Gentile of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Carmine Gentile, Lisa Venditelli, Laura Mahan and Melissa Greenlief and four great grandchildren, Joseph and Juliana Mahan, Catherina Venditelli and Adriana Greenlief.
His funeral will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 9:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., West Warwick.
