Eileen (Malone) DesGranges

 Eileen (Malone) DesGranges, 92, of Town Farm Road, Coventry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday evening, February 17, 2024 at home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. DesGranges, they had been married for 52 years upon his passing in 2014.  Born in County Kerry, Ireland, a daughter of the late James and Helen (Gleason) Malone. She was a resident of Coventry for many years.

Mrs. DesGranges was a nursing assistant with Alternative Care for sixteen years before retiring.

She loved attending church, knitting, dancing, flowers and visiting family. She especially loved her granddaughters deeply.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie Padilla and her husband Jose Padilla and two granddaughters, Samantha and Siara Padilla. She was the mother of the late Robert R. DesGranges and sister of the late Myra Orton and late Robert Malone.    

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry.
