SICARD, Raymond J., 90, of Moskalyk Street, West Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Kent Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Antoinette E. (Cipolla) Sicard. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Joseph and Regina (Frenette) Sicard.
Mr. Sicard was a grinder at Gorham Manufacturing in Providence for forty-two years before retiring in 1989. He was a Korean Conflict Marine Corps Veteran and a member of the West Warwick Republican Town Committee for over forty years. Ray was an avid Red Sox fan, loved playing cards with his family and going out to eat.
He is survived by two loving daughters, Nancy A. Wells of Coventry, and Lisa P. Sicard of Hope; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cipolla. Cherished grandfather of Amber and Cynthia Wells and Cameron and Kyle Gerard and great grandfather of Aiden Colon and Aurora Gerard. He was the brother of the late Leon Sicard, Anita Coutu, Claire Petit and Doris Chisolm.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 9:00-10:45 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a service at 11:15 am in Riverpoint Advent Christian Church, 1107 Main Street, West Warwick.
