George H. Maynard

MAYNARD, George H., 88, of Seth Drive, West Warwick, passed away Thursday evening, March 29, 2018 at Kent Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Jeannette C. (Dragon) Maynard, they had been married for 64 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Bertha M. (St. Pierre) Maynard.  He resided in West Warwick since 1987.

Mr. Maynard was employed as a shipper/receiver for many years before retiring from Millard Wire Company.  He was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and an avid New England sports fan.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Chris Maynard and his wife Patricia of Coventry and Alan Maynard of West Warwick; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Maynard and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Harper Coates.  He was the brother of the late Arthur Maynard and Lillian Devlin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 am in the PRATA- GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
